Hi! Sports Basement is our favorite place to shop for everything out doors. One of the reasons is because you have great prices and an excellent selection. However, The main reason is because of your staff. They truly are amazing and I so appreciate their outstanding customer service. My husband and I were in Sports Basement A few weeks ago, and it was such a positive experience! We laughed and had a great time with your staff as we were checking out. Sam, Blake and Victoria were awesome! Not only did they give us excellent customer service as we were shopping, but we had so much fun as we were leaving! I went to Sports Basement to have new ski boots fitted that I purchased elsewhere. Owen, the boot fitter at SB, was wonderful. He spent a lot of time with me and was so patient. We found that the boots I purchased were not correctly sized for me. He then had me try 4 alternative brands - with each try we got closer to the right one for me - finally choosing Lange - the right size, width, support, performance and most importantly comfort! I really appreciated Owen’s knowledge and expertise - critical given the importance of having the right fitting boot! Plus he was so patient, always smiling and helpful. I love my boots and know if, over time I ever have an issue with their fit, SB will take care of it. And if you’re wondering- yes, I was able to return the boots that didn’t fit for a full refund 😊.
I was out on my bike ride today in Annadale State park. I Had a little crash, which cause my bike chain to jammed in the chain guard and I was not able to free it. One of your sales associates "Martin Pang" and his crew of bikers came rolling through and stopped to offer help to fix my bike. It's nice to see your service goes beyond the store. Keep up the great work!
I took my mountain bike in for long overdue service. They cleaned, adjusted, lubricated all parts of the bike. They identified a serious brake issue that we addressed and resolved. I'm very happy.
The bike shop here is LEGIT, Chris B just tuned my bike and it feels like NEW again. I've also had great experiences w/ the rest of the staff here, Colin esp. The rest of the basement store is very nice as well, I've forgot all about REI since discovering this place.
Colin at the bike shop has been an outstanding customer service representative. Waaaaay better than his own manager, he should be given a raise. He understood that I live very far away and did all he could to get a work vehicle back the same day. He gave me the best choices on upgrades and cleaners to equip my bike, as I can't service the bike conveniently. I remember him from when I bought the bike and his attention to detail, he makes me want to come back. Other things about management are not great and could do with some relaxing, but he is the stronger reason for my business.
Sports Basement Santa Rosa is a fantastic store! The bike shop offers high quality service for reasonable prices. Chris the mechanic is very knowledgeable and has fine tuned my bike. He recently did a break bleed and drivetrain adjustment. He corrected a few mistakes from the shop where I had purchased the bike. Chris knows bikes! I will be returning to Sports Basement for my regular bike services from now on. Thanks!!
My recent experience with the Bicycle service shop was exceptional. I have been mountain biking for 40 years and normally do my own service work. When encountering a technical problem with my Ibis Oso (e-bike) Chris was relentless in tracing down the issue. Bravo!
